About

The person behind this

I'm a Chinese astrology enthusiast who got pulled deep into the world of BaZi — the Four Pillars of Destiny. What started as a personal curiosity became this project: a set of free, accessible tools to help others explore the same ideas I've been fascinated by. I've spent many hours studying the subject, though I'm no master, and I welcome thoughtful feedback from anyone who knows more. Reach out here.

What you'll find here

This site offers simple, free tools for curiosity and learning:

  • Chart lookup — Enter your birth data to generate your BaZi chart and explore a basic analysis covering your Day Master, Four Pillars, Five Elements, Eight Mansions, etc.
  • Compatibility — Compare two charts to see high-level harmony or tension based on branch relationships and Day Master pairing.
  • Wiki — A growing reference for the concepts used throughout the site.

This site is a passion project, built out of genuine curiosity for BaZi and a desire to make it more accessible in both English and French. It's free for now, and I'd like to keep it that way as long as possible.

If it's brought you any insight or joy, a small donation helps keep the project going.

A note on culture and limitations

BaZi is rooted in a centuries-old tradition of Chinese metaphysics. This site is a simplified, educational introduction — not a replacement for serious study with qualified practitioners, and not a source of professional advice. If you want to go deeper, I'd encourage exploring reputable books and established teachers.

The interpretations here are intentionally simplified, offered for learning and entertainment. Accuracy is best when birth time and timezone are known; unknown birth times are handled with a default assumption and flagged as approximate. This tool doesn't cover advanced BaZi analysis, nuanced relationship readings, or personalized consultation. For decisions that matter, please consider speaking with a qualified BaZi or Chinese metaphysics practitioner.
