Which years are Dragon years?
Dragon years include 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012; the next one is 2024. These are the popular zodiac dates, which change animal at Chinese New Year.
BaZi counts differently. The popular zodiac switches animal at Chinese New Year, which falls between 21 January and 20 February. BaZi switches at Li Chun (立春), the start of spring, which falls on 3, 4 or 5 February. Dragon and the Goat: no direct link
Dragon (Chen) and Goat (Wei) share no clash, harmony, harm or punishment. They are both Earth, but of different kinds: Dragon is wet Earth that stores Water, Goat is dry Earth that stores Fire. At the animal level the year does not single you out. It becomes more active if your chart holds an Ox or a Dog, because the Goat clashes with, punishes or breaks those animals, and Dragon has its own links to both.
