Earth is one of the Five Elements in BaZi and Chinese philosophy. It represents stability, nurturing, and grounding.
The nature of Earth
"Earth flows through you like fertile soil — abundant, nurturing, deeply grounding."
Earth is the energy of stability, nurturing, and grounding. Like rich soil, Earth holds space for growth, provides foundation, and gives everything else a place to stand. It's the mother, the provider, the one others lean on.
In the Five Elements cycle:
- Earth is created by Fire (ash, warming)
- Earth creates Metal (compression over time)
- Earth is controlled by Wood (roots break through earth)
- Earth controls Water (earth dams water)
