Wood is the energy of growth, expansion, and new beginnings. Like a sapling pushing through soil, Wood brings vision, planning, and the drive to reach toward the sun. It's the entrepreneur, the pioneer, the one who sees what could be and moves toward it.
In the Five Elements cycle:
- Wood is created by Water (water nourishes growth)
- Wood creates Fire (wood fuels fire)
- Wood is controlled by Metal (metal cuts wood)
- Wood controls Earth (roots break through earth)
When Wood is abundant in your chart, you tend to see possibilities everywhere, initiate naturally, and have vision with the drive to manifest it. When Wood is weak, you may need more structure, patience, or support to grow.
